Toll Express is Australia’s largest Express pallet carrier, with turnover exceeding $400M, offering national distribution of palletised/unitised freight. Employing over 2,000 people and with 30 company owned branches, Express is the only true national carrier in this market.

A strong focus on customer service and relationships, aligned with a comprehensive regional network and the backing of other Toll divisions underpins our philosophy of customer partnerships. Toll Express is the only transport company to have obtained certification by the Customer Service Institute of Australia under the International Customer Service Standards (ICSS).

1600 vehicles move in excess of 2.3 million tonnes of freight and 2.6 million pallets per annum, ranging from highly sensitive items to bulky commodities and large pieces of mining equipment.

Number of employees / describe your team:

In Ballarat we currently have 8 full time employees and 1 casual P.U.D.Driver. We are also unique to the Express business by repairing and supplying Chep products to major industries in Ballarat and surrounding areas. This adds to our casual employee’s by an average of 5 extra workers a day. As we grow in the future I am confident that our need for more permanent employees will grow.
