TCW South West is a business unit of Telstra Corporation employing 13 extremely skilled individuals, offering their own vision & expertise. The South West VIC TCW team combines a sales team, business support specialist, commercial specialists, together with dedicated specialist who have responsibility for sponsorship, events & marketing & customer service. Collectively across the South West Region, we are amongst the region\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s major employers (800 direct employees), directly contributing over $38 million in salaries to the regional economy. This is in addition to the flow on effects generated through firms supplying goods and services to Telstra\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s operations in the region.
What are the best aspects about being a business based in the Ballarat region?
Being apart of a region which has significant potential for growth in the longer term, while also being a part of business community that understands the importance of business philanthropy in order to maintain and build strong resilient communities.
What are your views on the Ballarat region?
The Ballarat region is developing as the major employment and services hub for the greater South West and Wimmera regions which makes for a more diverse economy, which will build strength into the local economy. With this regional importance comes responsibility, and for Ballarat that means, showing leadership in the areas of cultural diversity, social change, business acumen and development, provision of quality health and educational services and finally model local governance.
