Committee for Ballarat facilitates economic and social development within Ballarat and its region to leave a notable and sustainable legacy for the entire community. We are not party political and we work closely with the three levels of government. We identify and work through projects that target priority issues in key areas. Projects are driven by expert task teams. We encourage membership from a wide range of business and community leaders drawn from Ballarat and across the region.
 

Committee for Ballarat aims to work closely with businesses and community agencies and the three levels of government so as, within Ballarat and its region, to:

• Ensure its global relevance
• Facilitate the access of all people and entities
• Encourage an innovative business culture
• Create and grow a leadership base
• Identify and promote innovative infrastructure projects
• Enable the community to respond to situations which may occur within its area and which require immediate attention
